I'll be walking a 7.0 mile course here in Worcester between August 7th and August 14th, and I'm asking for your help.
Team Genesis is a group of runners dedicated to reducing stigma surrounding mental illness, and raising funds for Genesis Club. Each year they join tens of thousands of others to run the historic Falmouth Road Race. This year, like last, we'll be participating in the "At-Home" edition of the race which allows non-runners like me to join the team. I'll be walking a 7.0 mile course here in Worcester between August 7th and August 14th, and I'm asking for your help.
My goal is to raise $1,000.
Every dollar raised goes directly to help people in recovery from serious mental illness attain competitive employment, education, good physical health, and stable housing. Your donation helps to ensure members have access to meaningful employment, healthy lifestyles, safe housing, and education and find genuine belonging, friendships, and purpose.
